Tierra Binion, 25, was allegedly beaten and shot to death by Christian Ketchup after she started fighting with her girlfriend outside the bar they were at. A Florida mother of twins has died after she was allegedly shot seven times outside a bar early Wednesday morning in Pensacola, Florida. According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Christian Ketchup, 25, was arrested Wednesday morning on a felony murder charge in connection with a shooting outside a Mugs n’ Jugs bar in Pensacola.

On Wednesday, Mugs n’ Jugs identified the victim as Tierra Binion in a Facebook post. Rachel DeRise, a 23-year-old woman whom WEAR News identified as Ketchup’s girlfriend, was also arrested and charged with assault Thursday in connection with the shooting, the sheriff’s office announced.

Tierra Binion cause of death

The two women were in a physical fight at the time of the shooting, the Sheriff’s Office told People. They reportedly began arguing inside the bar and eventually moved to the parking lot where Ketchup allegedly “shocked” Binion and knocked her unconscious, according to WEAR News.

Agents alleged that DeRise continued to beat Binion as she lay cold and Ketchup then shot her seven times, according to the outlet. “She jumped on her and started hitting her again,” Sheriff Simmons told the news outlet. “The situation has escalated and escalated to something irreplaceable,” Binion’s older sister, Diamond Jordan, told People on Thursday, “and now Earth is gone.”

She remembered the 25-year-old as a “sweet soul” and someone she was “always looking for more”. In recent years, she has been going back and forth as she tried to enlist in the military, Jordan said. During this time she lived between Florida and Virginia, where her husband and her two four-year-old children live.

“Now they don’t have a mother and they won’t know what it’s like to have a mother anymore,” Jordan said of Binion’s children. On Thursday morning, DeRise was released on $15,000 bond, according to court records, Law & Crime reports. “I don’t agree that that link is that low,” Jordan said. “I expect more charges to be filed later.”

According to court records reviewed by PEOPLE, Ketchup is being held without bail. His next court date is scheduled for September 13. It was not immediately clear if Ketchup or DeRise pleaded guilty or hired an attorney. Jordan also said she heard some “negative comments” blaming her sister for being in a bar.
