A high school student in Georgia has been arrested after an attack captured in a now-viral video sent a former teacher Tiwanna Turner  to the hospital with serious leg injuries.The student, who was not named because of her age, was charged with aggravated assault in connection with the Jan. 26 incident at Heritage High School in Conyers, a suburb of Atlanta, a public information officer with the Atlanta Sheriff’s Office said. Since the incident, Turner has been hospitalized and is currently unable to walk, her friend Jean Cannon wrote on a GoFundMe. “She won’t be back to work any time soon, and she will require extensive rehabilitation and therapy,” says the fundraiser. Cannon said that when Turner “attempted to redirect one of the students’ off-task behavior, the student proceeded to physically attack her.”
