“The death occurred approximately two weeks ago and investigators have been working on the case piecing together the fatal events that led to the victim’s death,” reads a Monday news release. “Both the husband and the victim lived together in their Fort Ripley home.”

Local sheriff’s deputies and investigators worked in conjunction with the state Criminal Apprehension Bureau to identify the alleged perpetrator, the CWCSO said.
