CALIFORNIA: Xavier Chavarin a Los Angeles teenager, was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight around 4:30 p.m. m. on Tuesday, March 7. According to the latest report, the Los Angeles police arrested a suspect “without incident” on Wednesday the 8th. “He is in custody. He will not be able to endanger anyone else and he was done peacefully, ”confirmed German Hurtado of the LAPD.
Aerial footage shows several officers escorting the suspected killer into the back of a patrol car. The high school student was waiting for his mother to pick him up outside a restaurant in Southern California when he was attacked by the suspect in what is being described as a “random attack.”

The defendant is also believed to have stabbed and wounded a 33-year-old man in a separate incident. The Los Angeles Police Department said they barricaded a home in Alhambra that they believed the suspect was inside on Wednesday morning, March 8, and it wasn’t long before he surrendered, according to ABC News.
The crisis negotiation team [and] our mental assessment unit did an outstanding job negotiating with him and making sure we reached a peaceful resolution. They used all the de-escalation tactics and were very professional and he came out and turned himself in to officers without incident,” Hurtado said, addressing reporters.
He also shared that the alleged attacker had ‘prior mental health incidents’. Police described the suspect as approximately 5 feet 1 inches tall with long wavy black hair and a long beard who was wearing a long black jacket with a black shirt underneath.
