Aiden Sagala Wiki – Aiden Sagala Biography

A man who was arrested in connection with the death of 21-year-old Aiden Sagala appeared in court in New Zealand on Thursday. The 40-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, was charged with one count of manslaughter as Sagala’s family members watched the proceedings, the New Zealand Herald reported.

Sagala tragically died after drinking a beer that he didn’t know was laced with methamphetamine. According to the victim’s older sister, Angela, her brother had gotten the drinks from a coworker and decided to open one that night.

“He was not himself. He looked like he was possessed,” she told Newshub, a New Zealand news programme. “He was kind of on the ground and he was trying to play with his nose and then he turned to me and said, ‘Sister, I’m dying.'”

Auckland City Criminal Investigation Officer, Glenn Baldwin.

The investigation “uncovered a significant drug import, where drugs were allegedly imported in liquid form concealed in beer cans,” Baldwin continued, adding that police estimated the value of the beer to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
