David V. Doyle accused of shooting a teenage

An initial investigation into the incident showed that multiple people were playing on Doyle’s property when the incident occurred, according to the news release.

Doyle told detectives that he unknowingly hit the unidentified teen after he began shooting at them as they fled the property. After CPSO officers responded to the scene and identified the teen’s injury, she was transported to an out-of-town hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
