Jonathan Lipnicki, who once played a little boy on ‘Jerry Maguire’, is now speaking online about his love of martial arts and has a significantly different appearance.

After starring in the Academy Award-winning classic as Renee Zellweger’s son Ray Boyd 26 years ago, Jonathan is now a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt.

He currently shares images on Instagram that demonstrate his love for martial arts and show off his lean physique.

Of Jewish descent, Jonathan also supports organizations that fight anti-Semitism and cancer charities. After appearing on ‘Jerry Maguire’ as a child, he landed roles in episodes of ‘The Single Guy’, ‘The Jeff Foxworthy Show’ and ‘Dawson’s Creek’.

After that, he starred in the comedy ‘Meego’ before breaking out once more in 1999 as the lead in the hit film ‘Stuart Little’. He played a little boy whose parents take in a talking mouse. Michael J. Fox, another former child star, provided the voice of Stuart Little the mouse.

He took on roles in the 2000s’ ‘The Little Vampire’ and 2002’s ‘Like Mike’, a sports drama in which he co-starred with hip-hop superstar Bow Wow. In 2016, Lipnicki told DailyMail that it had been a challenge persuading film directors and producers to see him as more than just the charming young man in the movie since ‘Jerry Maguire’.

He also considered it a blessing that he still keeps in touch with his former co-star Tom Cruise, who was his mentor. In the competitive world of Hollywood, Lipnicki believes his rigorous martial arts training keeps him focused and mentally strong. He also claims that having a six pack makes it easier for him to get papers.

Daily Mail reported that ‘Jerry Maguire,’ which Lipnicki made his acting debut, is one of the highest-grossing romantic comedies of all time. It generated $274 million globally and was a smash box office success.

When she was five years old, Lipnicki reflected on her time on set: “Every year the memories are fewer and fewer, but Tom and Renee were really great to work with.
