Keven Antonio Lourenco De Morais and two other are arrested after a 27-year-old woman was stabbed to death and another was injured at Wembley. Police were called to reports of a stabbing at a property in north-west London yesterday morning just before 10am.

Unfortunately, a 27-year-old woman died at the scene despite the efforts of the emergency services. The closest relatives of her have not yet been informed. A second woman, 28, was taken to the hospital with stab wounds that were later deemed not to be life-threatening.

Two people, a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. The man remains in custody while the woman has been released without further action. A third person, a 23-year-old man who detectives had publicly identified as Wembley’s Keven Antonio Lourenco De Morais, was arrested following the fatal stabbing.

He was found in Harrow at around 6pm yesterday, arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at a north London police station. Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, of the Met’s Crime Command, said: “This has been a fast-moving investigation and I would like to thank the public for sharing our request for information about this man.” He is now in custody.

“I recognize the great concern this incident has caused in the community and I would like to assure the public that a dedicated team of detectives is working to establish what happened. “Local officials will remain in the area for the next several days to respond to any concerns.” A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.Read More……..
