She was subsequently transferred to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, Australia, where 30 of her closest family and friends gathered at her side. But despite the tireless efforts of doctors, Ella Millicent tragically died on June 16. The cause of her sudden death remains unknown.

A GoFundMe campaign has been created to help Millicent’s parents, Cody Edwards and Amanda Watt, take a break from work to mourn their beloved daughter.

The page has raised over $34,000 as of July 7. Family friend Emma Bell shared memories of Millicent, describing her as a vibrant, compassionate and extraordinary young woman who had touched the lives of everyone around her.
