Witnesses told police that Neaimi-Pour entered the passenger side of the Mercedes that pulled up along the east side of Athel Avenue. A while later, the white Honda Civic pulled up next and the male passenger of the Honda Civic gushed out of the car. He then shot the victim multiple times. After getting out of the car, Neaimi-Pour collapsed in the street.
According to KTLA 5, when authorities began to investigate, they discovered that the shooters lived close to the scene, near Kensington Park and Saint James. After obtaining a search warrant, police deployed a SWAT team and arrested Browndorf and Farmer. The events leading up to the homicide are still under investigation.
