Stephon Henderson , 59, of Lexington, was charged with murder, domestic violence and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm after he allegedly shot and killed his wife, Talina Henderson, 47, the day before Thanksgiving at his Bay Colony home. . Henderson faces 26 years in prison, according to court records. He pleaded guilty on March 24.

It was also discovered that Stephon Henderson had a criminal record that included previous cases of domestic violence.
Stephon Henderson was also originally charged with violating an emergency protective order. However, the charge was overturned by the courts when it was found that a judge never issued an EPO. Talina Henderson had filed for an emergency protective order just three days before she was fatally shot, according to court documents.
