A Florida school bus driver is accused of sexually assaulting one of his passengers after surveillance video showed him touching and kissing one of her breasts through her clothing, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was identified as Tomas Andres Cabrera , 57, authorities said in an April 1 news release.

“The victim told a school district employee on Thursday (March 30) that the bus driver, Cabrera, touched and kissed her left breast on his clothing,” the sheriff’s office said.

Tomas Andres Cabrera accused of sexual abusing a minor

“Detectives, in coordination with our Office of Youth Relations and the School District, obtained a copy of the surveillance footage of the school bus. Detectives said the footage clearly and intentionally shows Cabrera touching and kissing the victim’s left breast on top of his clothing.”

Details of the victim’s age and his school were not released. Cabrera was arrested March 31 at his home in Naples and is charged with lewd and lascivious sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 12 by someone 18 or older, jail records show.

The investigation is ongoing, authorities said. Collier County Public Schools, based in Naples, has just under 50,000 students enrolled in 63 schools, according to Collierschools.com. The researchers identified the schools affiliated with the Cabrera bus route.Read More…..
