Charges on Martel

He is charged with four counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and two counts of animal torture, all felonies. Martel allegedly choked and squeezed two cats to death, while a third died of maiming, authorities said.

The cops found a kitten in a plastic bag in Martel’s apartment. The woman who reported him said the cat had been microwaved.
