CALIFORNIA: Frances Kendra Lucero was shot to death by her husband as they were returning home from a heated argument at a family dinner on Monday, March 6. Romier Narag, Lucero’s husband, shot her in front of their two young children, ages three and four. The horrifying incident occurred in Daly City, California, and Narag is accused of shooting the 27-year-old mother once in the leg with a pistol. 9mm while running home around 7:30 p.m. m. on Monday, March 6, according to the Daily Mail.

The Daly City Police Department stated that Lucero was shot four times and Narag was soon placed under arrest. He faces charges of manslaughter, child endangerment, concealing a firearm in a moving car and possessing a loaded firearm. On Tuesday, March 16, Narag, who is currently incarcerated at Maguire Correctional Facility, will appear in court in connection with the incident. His two children are being watched by the victim’s family and are being evaluated by a social worker.

Lucero’s sister wrote to her in a tribute: “To my best friend incorporated. I never imagined myself writing something like this for you. You were my best friend, my (sic) ate, my second mother, my platonic soul mate. I will always love you and “I will miss you. I wish I could hug you one more time. Have one more conversation with you,” DailyMail reported.

The sister added, “I will always be blessed to be able to call myself Frances Kendra’s little sister. Kuya, dad, mom and I will be fine. Rest now, she ate. I pray she’s not in pain anymore. I pray you’re at peace.” My guardian angel, I love you very much.

A GoFundMe has been set up to cover Frances’ memorial services, as well as any other help her family may need to get through this difficult time.
