Shooting in San Francisco outside a block party

Nine people were hospitalized when gunfire erupted in the San Francisco Mission District neighborhood Friday night, according to police. The shooting victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, according to ABC7. The shooting happened around 9 p.m. outside a block party hosted by clothing retailer Dying Breed, according to journalist Matthew Keys.

“Avoid the 24th/Treat St area while we conduct an investigation related to a shooting,”  police said in a statement. “Updates will be posted as they become available.” The clothing store was celebrating its sixth anniversary before the shooting when hip hop group RBL Posse was scheduled to perform.
